Greetings Frock,
Saw these 3 bags on your site, bravo. OK, F & M was founded in 1975 as a small boutique in Chelsea NY by Janice Mooney and Ronald Furst a young couple of New York born designers. Janice was a graduate of FIT and started her career in knitwear. Ronald was a drop out of engineering school but wrote a book for Simon & Schuster on handmade leather designing. The neighborhood went wild for their creations and F & M was soon picked up by Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman and other major stores and boutiques around the country. They grew for an 8 year period and then stopped getting along. Janice left the business and Ronald continued without her for several more years with this name. In the early nineties Ronald dropped the F & M label and uses only Ronald Furst. But the label is still copyrighted. Original shapes, great color combos, little hardware were and are the hallmark of this dynamic handmade product.
all the best, Ronald Furst Delray Beach fla

Did we write the same blog post? :-) <br />Claire and Emma were my picks. And I thought the exact same thing about the silhouette for Ms. Dane's shape. Smart move.

Thanks Yashica. I totally agree, as a curvy girl myself a 50s silhouette hits me in all the right places! Don't understand why Cathy Horyn has a problem.
